Boulder Bounty Donations
❤️The Boulder Bounty is a community resource based on the principle of "take what you need, leave what you can."
Organized and run by dedicated community volunteers committed to providing essential support to the 84716 community. The initiative for support and sharing is sponsored by the Boulder Ward, Boulder Wellness Network, and the Garfield County Bolder Way Forward Coalition.
Our primary focus is the community pantry that started on November 1 and is now open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as well as by appointment at the Community Center.
We collect and distribute food and household items, and we're excited to announce that we'll soon be expanding our offerings to include winter clothing and other necessities!
This Thanksgiving, we're organizing a special program to provide Boulder residents with a pre-assembled holiday meal kit. Each box will include a turkey and all the traditional fixings—potatoes, stuffing/dressing mix, a vegetable, broth, and cranberry sauce—allowing families to prepare a delicious meal at home.
Boulderites who self-identify as in need can confidentially request a Thanksgiving turkey and/or fixings by submitting the online request, completing a paper/pencil form available during community pantry hours, or by asking a trusted volunteer to submit the needed information by Friday, November 14.
Beyond Thanksgiving, we'll also be organizing a confidential Wish Tree to provide gifts for the holidays, spreading joy throughout our community.
In addition to physical donations and volunteering, Boulder Wellness is collecting monetary donations to support Boulder Bounty. These funds will be used initially to create the Thanksgiving dinner boxes and will then go towards the ongoing efforts of Boulder Bounty.Boulder Wellness is a nonprofit, so all monetary donations are tax-deductible.
